*ThinkTEC is an initiative of the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce.

This is the fifth in a series of annual conferences that focus on innovative technologies addressing terrorist and natural threats to the nation's security, and that promote the role of the Charleston region in bringing government, business and military entities together to develop solutions. The conference is marketed to government contractors, military leaders, business executives, economic development professionals, safety managers, first responders, homeland security consultants and researchers interested in the latest updates on potential homeland security threats as well as innovative solutions from local and regional organizations.

Highlights of the conference include:

  • Address by Dr. Thomas Cellucci, Chief Commercialization Officer, Department of Homeland Security
  • Joseph Opacki, Forensic Investigator for the FBI will discuss the current state Malware investigations.
  • Mike Kutch will update attendees on SPAWAR Systems Center Atlantic Cyber Security Campaign Plan.
  • Pre-Conference activities including C-17 flight and “Salute to Military” kick-off reception
